Sites we will visit

Meeting Ireland
Meeting Ireland

Here are a few samples of the sacred sites we will work on during the gathering.

Hill of Tara
Hill of Tara

At least 5,000 years old.
The psychic center of Ireland and our main ceremonial site. A powerul Apu. There are many sacred sites here. Site of 7 Sacred Springs - two of which are kept secret, known only to few.
The twin circles are the Rath ("Fort") of Kings.
At the center of the Upper Rath stands the Stone of Destiny. To the right of the Rath of Kings lies the Mound of Hostages. Off picture at top is the Faerie Forest and the Faerie Tree - the most sacred tree in Ireland.
We will do many ceremonies here.

Stone of Destiny

Atop the Hill of Tara. On a clear day you can see a third of all Ireland from here. Place your right hand on top of the stone and walk around it 3 times to "wind up" and activate your highest destiny.

Slide 3
Mound of Hostages

On the Hill of Tara.
Built in 3,000BC. Used as a burial mound for at least 2,000 years.
Around 400AD, Niall of the Nine Hostages, King of Tara, took one hostage from each of the five provinces of Ireland as well as from the Scotti, the Saxons, the Britons and Franks. The rising sun shines into the passage on the first days of Winter and Spring.

Well of the White Cow

On the Hill of Tara.
One of the 7 sacred streams of Tara. Inhabited by several Nustas. In continuous ceremonial use for 5,000 years. Near the carpark, a powerful place for psychic cleansing, so we always start our ceremonies on Tara by cleansing here first.

Loughcrew
Loughcrew

In Irish - "Sliabh na Cailleach" (pronounced "Schlee na Kiak"), meaning "Hill of the Hag". The Cailleach is one of the most active and powerful beings we know and a manifestation of the Triple Goddess. An amazing healer and teacher, but tough and ferocious. The mound is the site of intergalactic meetings at night. Here you will find an ancient stone altar and the Stone of Tongues. The site has been in continuous ceremonial use for 5,000 years.
A dragon lives inside the mound.

Dowth
Dowth

Not well known, so we should have it to ourselves.
Two passages lead into the central chamber, from north and south. At the Winter solstice the sun enters the north passage at dawn and the south passage at sunset. The south passage points directly at Newgrange.
A major ancestor site. You can feel the breath of the grave emanating from the open entrance of the south passage.

Newgrange
Newgrange

The most popular tourist site in Ireland. Reconstructed from the ruins. Too busy for ceremonial work, but a great chance to see what these sites looked like when they were first built.

Newgrange

We can't work on Newgrange itself. However, we know a private spot on the river beneath it where we work our ceremonies. This is the place where the ancients would arrive by river to visit Newgrange.
