ITEC Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology

The ITEC Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology course is intended for those who wish to learn and gain an internationally recognized qualification in this subject.

This ITEC Diploma course is suitable for students who would like to take this course as an individual subject and ITEC qualification.
Live interactive zoom classes and/or self online study (no need to travel)
OPTION 1 – This module is run over Sundays during the summer (May 26, June 23, July 28 & August 11)

Anatomy Module-Oct 24-Apr 25-evening course

Anatomy & Physiology is the core module to all holistic practical training (Massage, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, etc). This course is a compulsory module for students studying Reflexology & Holistic Massage.
No experience or knowledge is required in order for you to attend the ITEC Anatomy & Physiology Diploma.
If you haven’t studied for some time, or if you did not complete secondary school or take examinations, that is no problem – you will find this course well structured and easy to manage.
Upon successful completion of the training you will receive your Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology from ITEC.
Once you have achieved your Anatomy & Physiology Diploma, if you so desire you can continue with your studies in Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Sports Massage, Indian Head Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Reiki, Diet and Nutrition, etc.

Course Structure

  • The aim of this course is to train you to a very high level so that by the end of this training you will have an extremely detailed and broad knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology.
  • An integral part of the training in Anatomy & Physiology is the connection between the physical structures of the body and treating the whole person, body, mind & spirit.
  • Our tutors are highly experienced Anatomy & Physiology teachers – some with over 20 years of experience and many registered with the Teaching Council of Ireland.
  • It is our aim in teaching Anatomy & Physiology to bring to you this fascinating subject in a down-to-earth, interesting and exciting manner. We make Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology easily accessible and memorable to all.
  • At Green Tara College we aim to support you in every way possible with your studies, and include exam preparation & study guide classes in the training.
  • The tutor will take you through each system in detail bringing a new awareness that will help you enhance your understanding of how the body works and your sense of well-being.
  • You will also, upon completion of the training, know how to apply this knowledge to the holistic field.

  • Access to Moodle which is our learning web page where all the notes and class videos are located with unlimited resources.
  • You choose which classes suit you best or self study, each module (subject) is run approximately 3 times a year or you may use the recordings.
  • You can choose to take the ITEC assessment via zoom online or by actual paper in Green Tara College at a time that suits you-no need for travel.
  • We accept DPSS grants for this course.
  • Repeat any of the modules as often as you wish at no extra cost.
  • If you are unsure or worried about taking this subject you can purchase a visit to one of the classes for €50.00 and try it out!

The syllabus is easily laid out so as to be accessible to all. The time between each lesson allows you the opportunity to study in detail and to gradually build on your knowledge.

Students are welcome to voice record the classes to aid learning!

Fees: special offer of €500.00 -normally €745.00  ( includes exam fee €150.00)

Full payment is required to book the course:  €500.00 to secure a place on the training.  Following payment you have access to the course materials and classes for as long as you need and you may complete as quickly or slowly as you wish. The fees hold for five years.

  • As the terms of Anatomy & Physiology involves the memorising and understanding of anatomical names, it is essential that the student has an acceptable knowledge and capability of written and oral English. This must be self assessed by you and if you have a look at the recommended ITEC book, that will give you some idea.
  • Complete the Application Form at enrolment or first class
  • Agree to and sign complete Terms & Conditions of Booking including College Contract
  • Course Fee  €350.00  plus examination fee €150.00  = €500.00
  • Payment: Non-refundable €500.00 – this fee holds for five years.

How do I book a place?

In order to book a place please REGISTER by clicking the REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE button.

You can check your booking, then click PROCEED TO CHECKOUT. 

Methods of payment

  • Card  –  via the website.
  • Paypal – if you have a Paypal account.  Paypal will also let you make a card payment without a Paypal account.
  • Google Pay – if you are currently logged into your Google or Gmail account, this option will be offered to you.
  • Apple Pay – if you have an Apple account, this option will be offered to you.
    A place on the course cannot be guaranteed without payment.
  • If you are a return GTC learner, GTC graduate or member of professional holistic therapy associations you get a discount of €15. DO NOT deduct from the deposit.  This discount can be redeemed against the ‘balance payment only‘.  To avail of this you must apply the code professional (all lower case) at the checkout.
  • If you are booking a course less than 21 days before the course starts you must pay the deposit and balance fee together at the checkout

Currency

You can pay in dollars, Euros or pounds.  The website will automatically convert prices into your local currency.  You can also change currency with the button on the bottom left of the webpage.

Create an Account

You have the option to create an account with us.  This will save you from putting in all your details the next time you book a course.

Remember your card details

If you create an account, you can get the system to remember your card details for next time.  We do not hold your card details.  They are held by the card processing company (Stripe).  The system cannot hold your card details unless you create an account.

Don’t want to pay online?

If you are uncomfortable paying online, you can phone the office (046 90 60 600) and they will make the booking for you and take your card details over the phone.

These are a variety of dates when the systems will be taught you can choose which ones you would like to attend.   You can start at whichever module you wish as each are independant.
