The website records anonymous visitor information like IP addresses, browser types (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox), referring pages, pages visited and time spent on the web site. We collect this non-personally identifiable information for the following purposes: (1) to provide statistical analysis of traffic patterns through this websites; (2) to administer our website and servers and (3) to improve our services.

We do host our own streaming material on Vimeo. However, Vimeo does not measure you in any way, it simply counts how many times a video has been seen.

Specific information in relation to your personal data processed by us.
Specified purpose for enrolled students:
This data is processed to enable us to validate suitability for enrollment in our training courses and to maintain accurate student records and to communicate to you matters deemed relevant to the proper operation of the college and your performance as a student in our courses.
As part of the course registration process you must provide some information about yourself by filling out and submitting forms and documents proving you meet other requirements, such as having prerequisite qualifications. If you need to make changes to your personal information, such as a change of address or mobile phone number, you should contact us.
Regulatory disclosure requirements
Relevant parts of this personal information may be passed to organisations involved in the delivery of the course who require this information to perform their duties. In most cases these will be agencies which run exams and issue certifications and qualifications, such as ITEC. Where courses are paid for by external bodies, such as DSS or redundancy funds, we will provide them the personal information they require in order to fund your training. Typically this involves name, attendance and exam results.
This data is not, and will never be, shared with any external body not directly involved in the funding or administration of your training. It will not be made available to any other government agency unless required by law.
EU and EEA restrictions
This data is not currently transferred outside the EU. It may be transferred to the UK after Brexit. However, this will depend on the regulations in force at that time, which are yet to be determined. We will not pass your information outside the EU or EEA unless this is legal under GDPR.
Retention of Student Records
The data collected for this purpose will be held by us only as long as there is a business need to do so in line with the purpose(s) for which it was collected. Thereafter, in accord with the recommendations of the Irish Data Protection Agency to us on 29 March 2018, it will be retained for 7 years, and destroyed thereafter. We retain this information for 7 years after your last exam date. However, we will destroy this information immediately if you so require. Please be aware that if you do so, we will have no record you were ever a student of ours. If you wish us to hold your records for more than 7 years, please advise us in writing via registered post.
Refusing Student Registration
The data provided for enrolement is being requested under the requirements set out in EU Regulations. If you choose not to provide this information, it is impossible for us to accept you as a student because it is impossible to administer your enrolement.
Where we send student data
Full record sets are restricted to the web server in Dublin and the PC’s in our offices.
Personal information disclosed on the booking payment pages will be sent to the credit card processing authority who processes the payment (Stripe or PayPal). Your credit card information is not seen or stored by us, but is only known to the processing authority.
